Weddings are truly no different although sometimes it’s easy to get away from this. My approach to any wedding or photo session I’m invited into, is always to observe, seeking what makes you feel alive and at home in a feeling. Where the emotion, and truth of who you are seeps in and can’t be denied, even if that’s an ugly cry, a long silent embrace, or the nervous laughter before your first look. These emotion filled moments matter and when preserved over time, have an unwavering nostalgic effect.
I feel lucky to show up as myself and to be welcomed like family by my couples in order to create precious memories for the amazing people who choose me and show endless trust. Being a photographer is truly just an extension of who I am physically and emotionally, and I'm so grateful I get to use my eyes, hands, and heart to create for others, it’s truly my calling in life.
